Master Programme

The Master Programme in Economic Demography provides training in the theories, methods, and skills required to understand demographic dynamics in both developed and developing countries. Students in the programme include both aspiring professionals preparing for employment within fields such as governmental planning, ministries of finance, foreign development agencies, local government, insurance and general business as well as those preparing for entrance to PhD programmes. The programme focuses on the processes underlying population change, the contexts in which these processes originate and evolve, and the consequences of these processes. The Master Programme in Economic Demography places great importance on both advanced methodological training and thematic courses in fields where members of the teaching staff are specialized.

Please see the left-hand menu under Overview and Courses for more detailed information on the Master Programme in Economic Demography. In the right-hand menu you find further details on programme admission, scholarship and other useful information.
